ELECFREAKS 9g 270 Degrees Building Blocks Servo

Servo motors are rotary actuators that precisely control angular or linear position, speed, and acceleration. A 270 degree servo, also known as a continuous rotation steering gear, is a servo motor that can continuously rotate up to 270 degrees in one direction with no speed limit. Unlike traditional servos which can only rotate 180 degrees, 270 degree servos provide greater rotation capability.

DESCRIPTION

Servo motors are rotary actuators that precisely control angular or linear position, speed, and acceleration. A 270 degree servo, also known as a continuous rotation steering gear, is a servo motor that can continuously rotate up to 270 degrees in one direction with no speed limit. Unlike traditional servos which can only rotate 180 degrees, 270 degree servos provide greater rotation capability.

The 270 degree servo works like a normal servo, but with an improved control circuit that allows continuous rotation in one direction. A servo motor is controlled by sending a pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal from a microcontroller or other control device. The width of the PWM signal determines the position of the servo motor output shaft.

For 270 degree servos, the PWM signal can be set to neutral. This stops the rotation of the servomotor. The PWM signal can also be set to a range of values to rotate the servo at different speeds in one direction. The speed and the direction of rotation depending on the width of the PWM signal.
