3-Axis Digital Compass Sensor is a sensor module based on HMC5883L three-axis digital compass IC. HMC5883L is a surface mount high integration module and a digital interface with a weak magnetic sensor chips, used in low-cost areas of the compass and magnetic field detection. HMC5883L includes the most advanced high-resolution HMC118X series magnetoresistive sensor, and comes with Honeywell's patented integrated circuit including amplifier, automatic degaussing drives, offset calibration, making precision control in 1 - 2 to 12 modulo converter and simple I2C serial bus interface. Axis digital compass sensor can be used in mobile phones, notebook computers, consumer electronics, car navigation systems and personal navigation systems.
