ELF VRdrone Iterations (V2.0)

Long time no see. We've been making iterations, the latest version v2.0 (we had 8 iterations before), I will explain the places we reviewed and why.

1. The greatest improvement on the main board is that we have set the Bluetooth and IMU part as a separate module, which is mounted to the bottom of the wifi camera, largely reducing the interference on the performance of the wifi camera. Because for the former version, once we mount the wifi camera module, it will block the Bluetooth antenna so that it cannot effectively emit signals. V2.0 sets the Bluetooth module apart and avoids the wifi antenna discreetly, also avoiding the mutual interference of the two antennas.Moreover, we made layout optimization of the power part wiring, getting the electrical interference as little as possible, the system more stable. When the IMU part is separated, the electronic compass which is the most vulnerable to the interference is as distant as possible from the motors. Meanwhile, we reduced useful PCB area as much as possible, eradicating the vacant area to make it lighter. As for the IMU part, because it does not require strict strength, we use PCB with less weight.

2. Additionally, we have added two toggle switches respectively. They are easy to find and used for ELF the drone and the wifi camera turn on and off. Also, the SD card and the USB port are convenient.

3. Besides, we have added the charging circuit onboard to be used for the battery direct charge via USB. And we have redesigned the 3D print shell.

The Left Being Former 3D Print Shell; The Right Being the Latest Design Structural optimization: the former 3D print shell is 2mm thick, while the latest design is 0.8 mm in the common areas, only adds enhancedment in important areas. The ultimate design can achieve the desired strength while reducing the weight to the most degree.
