OSSUMMIT EU 2023, one of the world's top open-source events organized by the Linux Foundation, was officially opened on 19 September 2023 in Bilbao, Spain. As one of the world's top open-source events organized by the Linux Foundation, the summit, under the theme of "Innovation Happens Here", brings together global open-source developers, vendors, technologists, users, universities, and research institutes to discuss open-source innovation and the future. As a partner of the OpenAtom OpenHarmony ecosystem, ELECFREAKS brought its open-source big brother, XGO Robot Dog, to the event.

The City of the Future event is a competition designed by the ELECFREAKS Events team in conjunction with BrainCo in 2022, which has now been added to the World Robotics Competition, China's educational whitelisted competition, for the second year in a row.

This article will introduce one of the three major competitions supported by ELECFREAKS in 2023: the China Youth Science and Technology Education Achievement Exhibition Competition "Exploring the Future-Interstellar Development Challenge".

Did you know? Every year in China, tens of thousands of primary and secondary school students participate in various competitions related to robot programming to show their intelligence and talent. These competitions not only stimulate children's interest and love for science and technology but also cultivate their logical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and other aspects of their abilities.

The new factory is located in the Bay Area Digital Warehouse in Longhua District, Shenzhen, covering an area of 3,700 square meters. The factory adopts modern facilities and advanced production technology, equipped with an SMT workshop, SMT1 line is equipped with a fully automatic line, and the daily production capacity can reach about 2.2 million points; the SMT2 line is equipped with a semi-automatic line, mainly for the production of small batch and some PCBA with fewer devices. The comprehensive upgrading of the new factory has provided us with a perfect production environment and more efficient production capacity.

Born in 2009, HW Kitchen starts a friendship with ELECFREAKS in 2013. In the past ten years, we push more and further cooperation.

On the last day in Spain, Tyler visits the office of our old friend-BQ Education in Madrid. There is happy and relaxing communication between Alberto(CEO), Antonio ( marketing director ), and Tyler ( Sales Director). By chatting face-to-face, we also are able to see the possibility and potential target of pushing cooperation between BQ Education and ELECFREAKS in the near future.
